How much can the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Tow?

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Maximum Towing Capacity

Spotting a Jeep Grand Cherokee towing a camping trailer or a boat is not an unusual sight in Canada. That’s because the Grand Cherokee is renowned for its legendary off-road ability and unmatched all-wheel drive (4×4) capability. And the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee is no different. With a host of modern 4×4 technologies and a choice of two powerful engine options, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee continues to set the bar high when it comes to capability, and here’s no better to find out the new Grand Cherokee’s capability than knowing its maximum towing capacity. That’s what we’re going to find out here at Stony Plain Chrysler in Stony Plain, AB.

Customizable Capability

The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee lets you customize its capability. It comes with three available 4×4 systems and lets you choose from five driving modes: Auto, Sport, Rock, Snow, or Mud/Sand at the flip of a switch depending on the terrain you’re driving on. Plus, the available Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System provides added traction to handle everyday on-road and off-road situations with ease.

The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee can automatically lower its height at higher speeds to achieve more traction and better aerodynamic stability, thanks to the class-exclusive Electronic Semi-Active Damping feature in its Quadra-Lift Suspension system and you can even raise the vehicle height when required for a maximum of 11.3 inches of ground clearance with the Trailhawk® models.

These technologies, along with the choice of a lightweight 3.6L V6 with ESS or a powerful 5.7L HEMI® V8 with Multi-Displacement System, provide the 2022 Grand Cherokee with enough power to tow all your outdoor necessities without breaking a sweat.
