All five trims are equipped with a 2.4L MultiAir® inline 4-cylinder Zero-Evaporation engine with Start/Stop that makes up to 177 horsepower @ 6,400 rpm and 172 pound-feet of torque @ 3,900 rpm. The Compass Sport is the only model which gives you the option of a front-wheel-drive 4×2 drive system or an all-wheel-drive 4×4 drive system and comes equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission. All the higher trims come with a standard Jeep Active Drive 4×4 system and a 9-speed automatic transmission.

Off-Road features and Towing Capacity

Apart from the impressive engine specs, the 2022 Jeep Compass comes with plenty of off-road-centric features.
