2019 Dodge Challenger
When you get in your car and hit a flat stretch of road with no one else around the thought probably crosses your mind to see just how fast your car can go. Pushing the pedal to the floor and hearing the surge of the engine is an adrenaline rush.
So when you have a car like the 2019 Dodge Challenger, known for its power and engine, it has to crank out some serious force right? At the highest level, with its supercharged 6.2L Hemi SRT Demon V8 with torqueflite high-performance, the Challenger can churn out 840 horsepower and 770 lb-ft of torque. That is some serious power that can get you going in a hurry.

That’s the top of the line engine, but the standard is no slouch either. The 2019 Dodge Challenger’s base engine, a 3.6L Penstar® V6 can put out 305 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. Not quite as powerful as the SRT Demon, but it’ll still get you to where you need to go in a hurry. The SRT Demon can get from 0-60mph in 2.3 seconds making it one of the fastest cars in the west.
All that power, but it still remains a pretty fuel efficient car as well. The standard 2019 Dodge Challenger has a combined mpg of 24 while the Hellcat trim has a combined mpg of 16. In addition, the 18.5-gallon fuel tank gives it a range of almost 500 highway miles. You won’t get to show off your ride at the pumps too much, but when you do heads will turn.
