In addition to the base engine, the 2018 Cherokee will offer a 3.2-litre V-6. This engine offers the best performance numbers available on the Cherokee at 271 horsepower and 239 pound-feet of torque.

Both engine options will be equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel and all-wheel drive systems are also available.
